Langtry Manor Hotel salutes the Bournemouth Air Festival
The Langtry Manor is only a 5 minute walk from the cliff top along Bournemouth’s coastline and thus the perfect viewing spot for looking up to the skies to enjoy the spectacle of the Bournemouth Air Festival which has become the biggest show of its kind in the United Kingdom.
Highlights of note in 2010 were the emotional displays by The Lancaster, the WWII four-engined Bomber aka ‘Dam Buster’. The Eurofighter Typhoon boomed through the Bournemouth skies as did the F16. A wonderfully choreographed amazing aerobatic performance was put on by the Breitling Wing Walkers. And of course the stars of the show as always were the Red Arrows.
During the Bournemouth Air Show there is much more entertainment to enjoy at various locations throughout the city, including firework displays, street entertainers, and live music including military bands.

2011 will see the return of the Bournemouth Air Festival from August 18 to August 21.
