Cycling in Bournemouth
Whether you are a recreational cyclist or like to slip into your Lycra and rack up the miles, Bournemouth offers a variety of mainly off road routes. From Langtry Manor you can peddle along the seven mile promonade seafront to Hengistbury Head to the East or the famous Sandbanks to the West. The only times that you must avoid the seafront on two wheels is between 10 am and 6pm in July and August. From Hengistbury Head you can catch the ferry over to Mudeford and head off to the New Forest. Or from Sandbanks the ferry will take you to Studland from which you had zoom off to the Perbecks; Corfe Castle, Wareham or Swanage. If you don't fancy a ferry you can take a trip to the picturesque towns of Wimbourne or Christchurch.
Bring your own bikes or hire them from the beach by the Pier Bournemouth Seafront Bike Hire or On Yer Bike in Charminster.
We do have a secure bike storage area for guests.
