An Edwardian Banquet Experience

(The Edwardian banquet is included as part of a Langtry Manor Weekend Break)

A trip to or life in Bournemouth wouldn't be complete without a visit to Langtry's resturant set in the hsitoric Langtry Manor.

Each Saturday night Langtry's host a six course Edwardian Banquet with the highlight being a 10 minute live performance of the “Life of Lillie” in the Main Hall. With its magnificent stained glass windows, minstrels gallery, inglenook fireplace and sixteenth century tapestries it is the perfect setting in which to delve into the secrets of this intriguing royal love-nest of a King.

The banquet, which is fit for a King, serves six delicious courses of the finest, fresh food. The mouthwatering dishes are presented and described to you by staff in Edwardian dress - All you have to do is 'choose'.

1st Course
A beautifully presented hor d'oeuvre table from which you are invited to help yourself to as much as you would like (be careful you still have five courses to come).
2nd Course
Chef's Tomato and orange Soup with parsley garnish.
3rd Course
Prawn and Scallop Bouchees.

Chicken, Liver, Bacon and Pineapple Brouchettes served with a spiced sauce.
4th Course
Passion Fruit Sorbet

Finest English Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding served in its own juices with Chefs Horseradish Sauce.
