Edwardian Diner Party
Our Edwardian Dinner Parties have been a feature at Langtry Manor for over thirty years – carrying on a tradition established by Lillie herself and recreating the dining experience of the 1880’s. Enjoy a six course menu presented to your table in the grandeur of our dining salon.
Fine wines, supplied to us by Berry Brothers and Rudd – who still hold the Prince of Wales warrant to this day complete a memorable meal.
Don’t be surprised if Lillie and Bertie join your table during the evening and Lillie is sure to regale the assembled company with a little of the history of her home.
Our Edwardian Dinner Parties are held each month – please call our reception to check on the next available date. Alternatively a bespoke evening can be held for groups between 20 and 60 in number.
“Unique” | Reviewed May 2015
I know a few cousins across the pond who would go weak at the knees for this place. It is quite unique in its history as well as the service and quality provided in this day and age of conformity. We opted for the Edwardian banquet which (being youngish townies) we were somewhat unsure what to expect. We needn’t have worried as the service, food and ‘entertainment’ meant the next 4 hours passed as one of the most unique dining experiences we’ve ever had. Six courses of very good food, all very generous portions and then a wonderful monologue from Lily Langtry herself! The staff here really make you feel at home and the history and furnishing of the building mark it out a country mile from any of the surrounding Bournemouth hotels.
