A Murder Mystery has to have the right setting to evoke the intrigue and - should I say it, romance, of a good old fashioned crime waiting to be solved.Who done it? - was it the particularly seductive "Lady of the Manor" sitting next to you or the handsome Lord Langtry puffing his fake cigar in the With-Drawing Room?
A murder mystery weekend at the Historic Langtry Manor in Bournemouth UK is an event in itself. With candlelit dinner on Friday night and the famous six course Banquet on the Saturday night, both in the setting of the Main Hall featuring huge stained glass windows, inglenook fireplace, sixteenth century tapestries, and Minstrel's Gallery. Add to that a web of deceit and murder where you get the chance to solve the puzzle and you have a weekend break in Bournemouth to remember for the rest of your life.
Having already been given your part you will meet the rest of the characters in the With-Drawing Room on the Friday night over a champagne cocktail. Each of the main characters of the Murder Mystery Weekend will introduce themselves to you, take turns to dine with you at your table and enlighten you! Stay sharp for the murder can take place at any time. You will have the day to enjoy yourself on the Saturday prior to the Edwardian Banquet in the evening, by which time there will have probably been a fatality. Again you will be given the chance at dinner to grill all of the Main Characters and piece together the mystery of the murder.
Sunday morning after breakfast will be the final questioning, unveiling and summing-up with a prize for the best guess at solving the crime.
Each Murder Mystery scenario is totally unique and especially created for your weekend with us so that each weekend is fresh unmatched. Murder Mystery Weekends are held here at the Langtry Manor Hotel in Bournemouth twice a year in March and November.
Murder at the Manor 22nd-24th November 2013
After receiving your character in advance, transform yourself for a fun-packed weekend with a twist. As you dine with fellow guests and actors, immerse yourself in the story as the plot unravels. The identity of the murderer will be announced after breakfast in Sunday morning, (after your chance for a little light interrogation!). The only question you have to ponder is 'who dun it?'.
