Further down the coast you come to Lulworth Cove a tiny bay village that is renowned for its sheer beauty and landscape. A brisk walk from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door to view some of the ancient and Jurassic rock formations makes for a wonderful activity holidays for families. Lulworth is a thirty five minute drive from Bournemouth and is situated near to Wareham and Abbotsbury that also offer some famous sites and walks.

For the few who enjoy something more adventurous then Bournemouth is the perfect place to indulge in sports such as paragliding, surfing and hand gliding. Often you will find surfers and paragliders on the beaches of Southbourne and Hengistbury Head showing off their sports.
